But just as they were about to escape, the dragon hunter appeared, furious at their audacity. Defeated and humiliated, the dragon hunter retreated, vowing never to harm another creature again. Luna and Lily, along with their animal friends, returned to the kingdom as heroes, their bravery celebrated by all. They adopted a kitten they found in the cave, a little black pawed ball of fur, and named her Midnight, a reminder of their nighttime adventures.
From that day on, Luna, Lily, and Midnight continued to protect and care for the animals of the kingdom. Princess Luna’s love for animals became well-known, and she started an animal sanctuary in the castle gardens, where creatures from far and wide found refuge.
